Reduce, reuse, recycle three words that we now hear more often. We all recycle household
waste such as paper and plastic but did you know you can do the same with jewellery?
Maybe you have old jewellery lying around the house that you no longer adore or inherited
jewellery that has huge sentimental value but simply isn’t to your taste. Then why not give it new life.
Recycling old jewellery gives one the chance to reuse metal and stones to recreate something special that you can enjoy for years to come while still holding onto the sentimental
value of what it once was.
Simply get in touch with Kim so we can go through the jewellery you wish to reuse and make sure, they are suitable for remodelling. Kim will then go through all the possibilities that can be achieved by melting down the old metal. Once all the ideas are taken on board Kim will sketch the designs and pop them in an email along with a quote ready for you to make the final decision.
When all is finalised Kim uses old traditional goldsmithing techniques to create the piece. From smelting to stone setting all is done in house. The lead time for remodelling is usually between 4-6 weeks. If there is a specific date that you need the piece completed for please let Kim know so she can do her best to try to meet your deadline. When completed your new piece is beautifully packaged and ready for you to take home.
